Olav Ellison has been painting in oil, acrylic and ink for thirty years. He grew up in Los Angeles, where he went to college and worked in art departments in the film industry for seven years, before going to graduate school at the American University. He has recently shown his work at the Pearview Gallery, the Pancakes & Booze Art Show (DC), and had several private sales and commissions. He has a Ph.D. in history from King’s College, London. He lives in Maryland.
